Bicol Trip - Day 2 - Virac

My Papay said we should make the most of the day and visit Marinawa falls, a freshwater falls 30 minutes from the capital.
Nanang Nes, Ninong B and Nanang T climbed up the falls.
Kami ni Mama sa baba lang.

My Mama & I decided to take a dip...
Wheeee, Wheeee, Wheeee - Saraaaaaaaap!
Gigil!!!
Pose muna!
After awhile, umambon na, so my Mama decided it was time to go home...
"What's the trouble, bubble?" "Kasi po, gusto ko pa pong magswim."

Maydoc's house - the windows are all enclosed by typhoon boards, from the last bagyo.

Virac is hit by bagyos up to 8 times a year.
The view from my MayDoc's room. Mang Connie - Papay & Mamay's former driver came over to give us some of his homemade tuba.
"Mamay, anong lasa po?"
Maf, not really sure about the taste .
My Papay and Mamay liked the tuba, masarap daw ang timpla.

Even Ninong B had a go.

After leaving our stuff at MyDoc's house, we crossed the street to say hallo to Lola Naids.
This was where my Papay and MayDoc lived when they were growing up. It looks so different now, because their old house had to be changed because of a super strong bagyo a long time ago.
Lola Naids and Tita Yoyen After a yummy dinner, we just chatted and played for a while...
Igiling-giling, Igiling-giling, giling!
Had a really great day! SMile!!!

Bicol Road Trip - Day 1

We set off for our 10 hours drive to Bicol super early in the morning ....
We drove through, miles and miles, and miles and miles of beautiful countryside, parang feeling mo nasa Amorsolo painting!
Migs was a good boy naman (except for the puking bit- Thank God for Gatorade), he kept himself amused with his DVDs & books, his cars and snacks.
We drove and drove and drove some more - not even stopping for lunch (we all prepared pineapple & pimiento and chicken sandwiches the night before).
So after 8 hours, we finally stopped in Naga for Papa and Awi to get a chance to rest and for us to eat yummy goto & halohalo at Bigg's Diner ( a super popular food chain in Bicol).
Migs had chocolate cake - obvious ba sa moustache?
Pose muna siempre!

And we were off again!!!

And of course, we had to stop to look in awe at the pride of Bicol - The truly Beautiful Mayon volcano ! We had to stop and take a pic ( actually lots of pics) of course!

Migs working it...

At last, after driving for 10 hours, we finally arrived at Tabaco, so we decided to just eat out after checking in at our hotel.

We ate at one of the biggest fast-food chains in Bicol - Graceland!

And since this is Bicol after all, the meals included laing!!! And it was one of the yummiest laings I have ever tasted. Yummmo!!!

After our dinner, Lola NIng treated us all to Pinipig ice-cream!
Posing with the Graceland mascot - a red penguin named Gweeny!

We returned to our hotel rooms to find out that during our dinner, nag brownout!!! Ngii!!!

At last, Man's greatest invention, the generator finally worked!!! Huurah!!!

Now, we have lights, aircon and TV (buti nalang Mama & Nes were getting quite desperate kasi Lobo time na!)
Time to have a nice sleep, and prepare for tomorrow's ferry to Virac!

Pasyal at MOA!

We had a pasyal day the Mall of Asia with my Nanang Nes. But before anything else, kain muna....
Nanang Nes treated us to one of her faves- Yellow Cab Pizza !
Nanang Nes with the New York's Finest, and it is super duper yummy, as in!!!
The way to eat it is to sprinkle chili oil on it, and talagang you just can't get enough. Saaaaaaaaarap!!!
We also ordered their ice-tea and the Charlie Chan noodles. Sarap din!
After our scrumptious lunch, we walked around the super big mall.

And at the ground level, I spotted an inflatable playground!

I rode on this rabbit first....
And had a go on the slide....
It was a bit scary at first , but I was really brave ...And my Mama was there to catch me!
Run around time naman with Nanang.
peek-a-boo!
And I jumped, and jumped...
and ran, and ran...
and Jumped some more!!!
